In 2019 we renovated the bungalow from the ground up. For people who, on holiday, would rather feel at home than stay in a hotel.

Lakes, heathland, moor and a brick castle. And just across the border, the Netherlands. Everything that lights up here sits in its true direction and distance from the house.

The Lower Rhine is flat and the routes are well signposted: you simply follow the numbered junctions. The Brüggener Rundweg loop runs via Bracht into the Netherlands and back past the castle.
Your bikes are kept safe in our garage. You can charge e-bike batteries there at a normal socket.

A whole house just for you and your party: a single-storey bungalow with its own terrace and its own fenced garden. Not a flat in an apartment block, no neighbours above or below you.
Brüggen is in Germany on the Lower Rhine (Kreis Viersen, North Rhine-Westphalia), right on the Dutch border and in the middle of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette nature park. Roermond is 13 km away, Venlo 16 km and Düsseldorf about 43 km (all as the crow flies).
Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00. Early arrival (from 11:00) or late departure (until 14:00) is possible by arrangement for 50 € each.
On the sofa in the living room. It pulls out into a bed for two adults. Bed linen is included here too.
Yes. Bikes are kept safe in the garage, and you can charge e-bike batteries there at a normal socket. There is no fast charger.
Up to two dogs are welcome on request. The fee is 150 € per dog per stay. Please state the breed and size when you book.
Yes. At the entrance there is a step of about 10 cm and a small edge; for this we provide a professional folding ramp. Inside the house there are no steps, and all doors are 90 cm wide. The shower in bathroom 1 is completely level; bathroom 2 has a shower door and is tight for a large wheelchair. Let us know when you book and the ramp will be ready.
When you book on this website you pay a 25 % deposit at booking and the balance 30 days before arrival, securely online by credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, Klarna, iDEAL or Bancontact.
Up to 60 days before arrival we refund 100 %, between 60 and 30 days 50 %. After that no refund is possible. If you booked through a portal, its terms apply.

Since 1 September 2026 the municipality of Brüggen charges 2 € per person aged 18 and over per night. It is not included in the rental price.
