SHOPPING AND SELF-SUPPLY First things first. The supermarkets in Brüggen are only 2.7 km from the property. In a seven-minute drive you can reach REWE, Aldi Süd and Lidl. REWE and Lidl own their own bakeries. There are two bakeries in the Brüggen pedestrian zone: Café Achten Brüggen and Burg Café Oomen. Both bakeries are 5min away from the property. We recommend you wake up early on Sunday, if you want fresh bread, as the bakeries in Brüggen have a lot of fans on Sundays. The Volksbank and Sparkasse are at your disposal for obtaining cash. Please note, however, the opening times, because you then only with a customer card access to the ATM. Bruggen is a very active place, often taking place on weekends various events, such as the Burgtheather or various markets or street food festivals.
